In this document dated 1 October 1750, Angus McIntosh, Baillie and late treasurer of Inverness, lists an account of the 'Deficient Feu Duties' in his period of office from Michaelmas 1736 to Michaelmas 1738

Included in the list of debtors for non payment of feu duties is: William Stiven, shoemaker; William Fraser, tidesman; Robert Neilson, litster (a dyer of cloth); John Grant, wright; John Bain, glover; George Rogers, shipmaster; Robert Neilson, surgeon; Margaret Fowler & Joseph Dallas; Jonathan Thomson, for his house in Bridge Street; and John Forbes of Culloden, for a kiln on the west of the River Ness.

The total amount of debt is two hundred and twenty seven pounds, five shillings and four pence, Scots money.
