This photograph shows the ruins and burial ground of the old parish church at Kilchoan, Ardnamurchan. The building, known as St Congan's, is mainly of 18th-century date, but incorporates part of an earlier church dating from the 12th or 13th century. In the burial ground are two graveslabs which date to the fourteenth or fifteenth centuries, one of which depicts a harp player.
