Highland Airways' General Aircraft ST4 Monospar

This photograph shows Highland Airways' twin-engined Monospar, G-ACEW. The aircraft was built by the General Aircraft Company in Croydon in 1933. It was the plane used in the company's inaugural flight from Inverness to Wick and Kirkwall on 8 May 1933.

It was destroyed by fire at Croydon in 1937.
