This is an aerial view of Wick Airport taken in 1968.

It was originally a grass airfield used by Highland Airways from 1933 as a stop on their Inverness to Kirkwall route. It was requisitioned by the Air Ministry in 1939 shortly before the outbreak of World War II and became RAF Wick.

It is now owned and maintained by Highlands and Islands Airports Limited.
