One of the first cars registered in Inverness, driving along by the River Ness. According to the register of motor cars for Inverness, ST 9 was registered on 31 December 1903 by Lord Lovat of Beaufort Castle, Beauly. The car is described as a 10 horse Panhard, 18 cwt. Rene Panhard and Emile Levassor sold their first car in France in 1891. By 1902, their cars were sold in London. The company made its last car in 1967
