Foundry fire

This is the Rose Street Foundry in Inverness after a fire. The extent of the damage suggests that it was the fire of 1888, after which the company claimed £1016 from their insurance company. The foundry also suffered a fire in August 1897, resulting in an insurance claim of £500.

The Rose Street Foundry & Engineering Co. Ltd. was later known as A I Welders and, from 1945, as Resistance Welders Ltd
