The War Memorial at Kyleakin, Isle of Skye, was unveiled on Friday 15 April 1921 by Mrs MacInnes of the Kings Arms Hotel, whose only son had fallen in France. The Celtic cross is made of Peterhead granite, and was erected by D. & A. Davidson of Academy Street, Inverness. The monument stands on 'the lump' overlooking the village
