Milton, Applecross

A rather muddy Shore Street in Applecross is seen here from the adjoining township of Milton, or Milltown, looking north into Applecross Bay. Milton lies to the south of Applecross itself, and had a small pier where boats could berth. In the opposite direction of this view, the single track road leads to Toscaig at the southern end of the Applecross peninsula, from where Skye can be seen across the Inner Sound
