Lorry accident, Kyle of Lochalsh

A lorry is retrieved, with the aid of a steam road roller, from the foreshore close to the jetty in Kyle of Lochalsh. This is one of a series of photographs which Duncan Macpherson took of the operation, which seems to have created quite a bit of local interest. His pharmacy was situated near the jetty from where the ferry crossed to Skye, and so he was well positioned to photograph this particular event
