Loch Duich from Invershiel

Mountains rise from the shores of Loch Duich, with a few houses dotted at their feet. Sgurr an Airgid (841m) towers over the village of Inverinate, with mist covering the peaks to the north west. Duncan Macpherson, the Kyle pharmacist and photographer, made regular day trips by road and sea, recording the scenes with his camera and also in his books 'Gateway to Skye', 'Lure of the West' and 'Where I Belong'
