This photograph was taken from Beinn na Caillich above Kyleakin on the Isle of Skye. Duncan Macpherson looked out on Beinn na Caillich from his chemist's shop across Loch Alsh in Kyle, and took many photos of the hill from that angle. This proves that he not only looked at the hill, but climbed it as well. A truly spectacular view, with the Cuillin range visible in the right background, the Elgol peninsula separating Loch Slapin and Loch Scavaig central, and in the middle distance is the island of Rum
