Tea in the garden

In his book 'Where I Belong', Duncan Macpherson describes this part of his garden at Glenquithel, his home in Kyle of Lochalsh. "From my hill-top, as I sit on a grassy plateau beneath a sheltering pine-tree, I can feast my eyes on the Cuillins gleaming in the morning sunshine." He is second on the right, with his daughter Mary on the left and family friends Dr Iain and Mrs Mairi MacLeod and their children. This shot was taken with a self timer. In another photograph taken on the same occasion, Macpherson is behind the camera
