This is one of two Iron Age Brochs situated in Glen Beag, near Glenelg. Dun Telve broch, pictured, is rather better preserved than Dun Troddan which is situated slightly further up the glen. Material was probably removed from Dun Troddan in 1722 to construct Bernera Barracks. A few finds were recovered during excavation in 1914, including stone cups, rotary querns and spindle whorls
