This unexplained photograph was taken by Duncan Macpherson from the doorway of his pharmacy at the bottom of Main Street in Kyle of Lochalsh. The men may be using crowbars to move the rock to the jetty which is situated down the road on the left. The gates on the extreme right and left of the photograph were closed when livestock was moved between the jetty and the railway station
