Neil Macpherson with his Aunt on a day trip

Duncan Macpherson, the pharmacist and photographer in Kyle of Lochalsh, spent a lot of his free time touring the area around Kyle. He was often accompanied by members of his family, in this case his son Neil, and Chrissie, his wife's sister. Macpherson's camera was always with him, whether he travelled by bicycle, on foot or, as seen here, by car. This car is a Ford, probably an Anglia, and as it was registered in Perthshire, it may have belonged to Chrissie who worked there and who was a regular visitor
