Lorry accident, Kyle of Lochalsh

A lorry is retrieved, with the aid of a steam road roller, from the foreshore close to the jetty in Kyle of Lochalsh, where a crowd has gathered to watch. This is one of a series of photographs which Duncan Macpherson took of the operation. His pharmacy was situated near the jetty from where the ferry crossed to Skye, and so he was well positioned to photograph this particular event
