Totaig ferry house and slipway

From the slipway at Totaig, a ferry crossed Loch Duich to Dornie or Ardelve, saving the people of Letterfearn a long road journey through Shiel Bridge at the head of Loch Duich. The ferry was still in use in the early part of the 20th century. An impressive broch, Caisteal Grugaig or Castle of the Witch, is situated on the headland close to the ferry
