Torrin, Isle of Skye

The rounded peaks of the Red Hills at Torrin in the parish of Strath, dominate this view to the north east of the crofting township. The smooth granite of Beinn Dearg Mhor (709m) and Beinn Dearg Bheag (582m) are in sharp contrast to the serrated gabbro peaks on the other side of Loch Slapin, particularly Blà Bheinn (928m), a popular, relatively straightforward hill walk up a Cuillin Munro.
