Mary and Neil Macpherson

Mary and Neil Macpherson were the children of Duncan Macpherson and his wife Margaret. Duncan was the Pharmacist in Kyle of Lochalsh from 1912 until the mid-1950s, and a keen photographer. His children regularly appear in his photographs, in this instance possibly returning from school. They attended the local primary school followed by Plockton Higher Grade School for their secondary education.

Mary was born in 1917 and Neil in 1919, so this photograph may have been taken in the late 1920s. The location is not known.
