Chambered Burial Cairn near Loch Camster

A view of the entrance of Camster Round Cairn, a round, chambered burial cairn, as seen from the east. Located west of Loch Camster, near Wick in Caithness, the cairn is of the Orkney-Cromarty type, and measures 18 metres in diameter with a maximum height of 3.5 metres. It is one of the three cairns known as the 'Grey Cairns of Camster'. Located in very boggy land, and reached by use of a boardwalk, it is in very good condition.
