Floral Clock, Inverness Castle

This photograph is of the floral clock at Inverness Castle.

The first floral clock was introduced to Scotland in 1903 by J. McHattie of Edinburgh Parks and the idea was soon imitated throughout the country. The Edinburgh clock can still be seen today in its original position in Princes Street Gardens. Each spring it is replanted to a different design
