Ratagan Youth Hostel

This 19th century former salmon fishing station on the shores of Loch Duich has been in use as a Youth Hostel for many years. The enlarged entrance doors at each end can still be seen, and the stable block on the left now also provides accommodation. The original windows have been replaced and more added in the roof. The Hostel's location provides stunning views of the Five Sisters of Kintail across the loch, and its proximity to several attractions including the brochs at Glenelg, Eilean Donan Castle and the Isle of Skye, ensures its popularity with walkers and tourists.
