Duirinish Parish Church

The Parish Church in Dunvegan dates from 1832, and although no architect is recorded, James Ferguson of Portree may have been involved in creating the boxy style, with Y-tracery windows and short tower incorporating the front entrance. The interior still retains the original furnishings, including a distinctive pulpit which is said to be the highest in Scotland, and a carved sounding-box.
