Corry Lodge was built around 1790 for the Mackinnons. Their former home was at Coiriechatachan below Beinn na Caillich. Corry Lodge is a more elegant house, close to the old pier in Broadford, and overlooks Liveras Point on the west side of Broadford Bay. Side wings of the house are connected to the central block with narrow bays forming a courtyard at the back of the building which is dominated by a circular tower incorporating a stair.
