Boath House, Auldearn

Boath House has been considered one of the most attractive regency houses in Scotland. It was built by Aberdeen architect Archibald Simpson (1790-1847) and owned by the Dunbar family until 1923. It went through various owners and had fallen into a state of disrepair before the current owners bought it in the early 1990s and transformed it into a hotel.
