The Ness Bank congregation originally belonged to the United Free Church which joined with the Church of Scotland in 1929. Ness Bank Church was built in 1901, in an early Gothic revival style, by William Mackintosh of Inverness. Due to space restrictions at the site, the church halls are located underneath the main church sanctuary.
