The Parish Church in Dunvegan dates from 1832. Although no architect is recorded as being responsible for the building, James Ferguson of Portree may have been involved. The interior still retains the original furnishings including a distinctive pulpit, which is said to be the highest in Scotland, and a carved sounding-box.
