The Bank of Scotland (Banca na h-Alba) in Portree on Skye was built in 1873. It fronts onto Somerled Square, the main civic space in the village. The bank is one of several buildings, including the Courthouse and the Clydesdale Bank, which were designed by the architectural firm of Matthews and Lawrie.

Somerled Square takes its name from the 12th century warrior chief of the Macdonalds. The layout of the square has been altered several times over the years.
