Photograph of two signalmen in their signal box on the Highland line. It is believed to be the Rose Street signal box located just outside Inverness station where two lines meet. The main signalling contractor employed by Highland Railways was MacKenzie and Holland. The racks of levers to control all the signals were also made by MacKenzie and Holland
