Santa greets the station master at Inverness Station in the 1950s. Has he been experimenting with alternative means of transport, or is it simply a shopping trip to buy more reindeer? They do live in the Highlands, after all. He also visited the drapers Benzie and Miller at 13-17 Union Street the same day so he had the opportunity to stock up on Christmas presents while he was here
