Wedding Dance

The names of the bride and groom in this photograph are unknown.

During the wedding reception and dance following a wedding it is traditional for the bride and groom to dance the first dance. This dance is usually a waltz. After the bride and groom have danced, the groom then dances with his new mother-in-law and then his mother, while the bride dances with her new father-in-law and then her father. The best man dances with the chief bridesmaid while the ushers dance with the other bridesmaids. It is also traditional for the mother of the bride to dance with the father of the groom and vice-versa
