The Provost of Dingwall at a Passing-out Parade at the Depot Seaforth Highlanders, 1953.

The Passing-out Parade of recruits for the Seaforth Highlanders on 2nd May 1953 at Fort George was inspected by the Provost of Dingwall, Provost Sandy Macrae BEM. Thirty men of Lucknow and Atbara Squads were on parade, and the best all-round recruits in each were Private J Wilson and Private J Watt. Provost Macrae is seen presenting a certificate to one of the prize winners, watched by Major AJS Martin the Depot Commander, and Captain GJFT Rippingall the Adjutant.
