Cameron Highlanders at barracks

This photograph shows soldiers from the Cameron Highlanders at the Cameron Barracks in Inverness. They are probably taking part in a passing out parade.

The men are wearing the Blue Hackle behind their cap badges and these were issued in the early 1950s. The uniforms are correct for that period. I suspect that this was a passing out parade. The Inspecting Officer looks like a senior member of the Scout movement.
