Glenquoich Lodge

Photograph of Glenquoich Lodge, on the shores of Loch Quoich, on the Glengarry estate. Glenquoich Lodge was visited by many famous people, including Sir Edwin Landseer and Edward VII, who came for the hunting and the fishing. In the 1950s a Hydro-Electric dam built in the loch raised the water level 100 ft covering the lodge which had already been stripped of its copper and lead and set on fire
