Mr Edward Grant Fraser-Tytler of Aldourie.

Aldourie Castle stands at the northern end of Loch Ness and was built in 1626. The north wing and turrets were added in 1850 and the whole building restored circa 1900.

William Fraser, a successful Edinburgh lawyer, purchased Aldourie in 1754. He belonged to a cadet branch of the Lovat Frasers. When he died in 1775, the estate passed to his sister Anne and the following year she married Alexander Tytler and the two combined their surnames.
