The bride and bridesmaids look delightful in their wedding finery, but the star of the show is undoubtedly the groom, resplendent in the dress uniform of an officer in the Indian Army, complete with turban. The 'mob-cap' style of veil worn by the bridesmaids was a 1920s fashion which continued to be popular into the 1930s.
