A boy watches with interest as members of a motorcycle club, possibly the Highland Car and Motorcycle club, congregate outside a hotel. Besides the motorbikes, there is a car with the numberplate ST525. Records show that ST525 was first registered in 1913 by R. MacRae and Sons of Academy Street, who sold it to James Laidlaw of the Commercial Hotel in Invergordon. It was a 15 HP Benz, dark green, and seated five
