A.B. Bush and Duncan Stewart, Scoraig

In the early 1960s Alan Bush left his family's 1000-acre farm in Wales to become a crofter at Scoraig, in north-west Ross-shire. This photograph shows Alan's father, Arthur Brinsley Bush, and Duncan Stewart walking in front of the croft house, Tigh Scoraig. It was the Bush's first visit to the peninsula.

It is interesting to compare and contrast this photograph with PC_BUSH_018 which was taken almost 50 years later.
