Groam House Museum, Rosemarkie

Groam House Museum lies 15 miles north east of Inverness in the Black Isle seaside village of Rosemarkie. Dating from the 18th century, this former dwelling house now houses an important collection of Pictish stones including a magnificent symbol-bearing cross-slab. All the Pictish stones were found in and around the area of the local parish church, the site of an important early-Christian settlement
