'Plan of the River Ness to the North of the Bridge of Inverness from the Judicial Plan executed by Mr Home in 1774 for the cause The Feuars of the River Ness against The Magistrates of Inverness. Decided 27th January 1776.'

This map shows the boundaries of plots of land in areas of Inverness that are now, predominantly, industrial areas or areas of housing. Interesting to note is the River Ness estuary area which shows the high and low tide marks and various channels and cattle grazing areas. Also of interest is the fact that Academy Street was called New Street as this time.
