This postcard was published by Souter's of Dingwall and Strathpeffer as part of their 'Reliable Series'.

Highland Cattle were, and still are, a popular subject for postcards. The photograph was taken on the shore close to the village of Kyle of Lochalsh. The islands of Raasay and Skye can be seen in the background.

George Souter was a well-known Baillie (magistrate) He also owned a business in Dingwall selling books and stationery. He died in 1945, aged 75.
