A strathspey and reel played on the fiddle by Graham Scott. The strathspey 'Captain Campbell' is a popular tune in both Scotland and Cape Breton. 'Miss Shepherd' was written by James Scott Skinner. The tune was named after the violin maker John Marshall's assistant.

The Inverness Traditional Music Project runs classes on a variety of instruments at different levels. This tune comes from the 'TMC Tutors' Collection', a cd of 43 tunes played by the class tutors as a teaching aid for pupils.
