This is the will of George, Earl of Seaforth 1684, kindly supplied by the Scottish Archive Network (SCAN).
George MacKenzie (1609-1651), 2nd Earl of Seaforth, fought on both sides during the Montrose Wars, latterly with the defeated Covenanters at Auldearn in 1645. He was in Holland with Charles II, who appointed him Secretary of State for Scotland.
