37416 on train under the footbridge at Georgemas.

37416 was built by English Electric September 1965 as D6602, she was renumbered 37302 in March 1974 and became 37416 in March 1985. In January 1986 she was transferred to Inverness Shed where she spent most of her time until being put into storage May 2007 having clocked-up over 1.25 million passenger miles.

Georgemas Junction is where the Thurso Branch leaves the northern main line to Wick. The station opened on 28 July 1874, it closed to goods in January 1984 but it is still open to passengers.
