No.53 'Clan Stewart' on an up train running through Guay.

The 'Clans' were designed to haul heavy trains on the mainline between Inverness and Perth. They were the last locomotives designed for the Highland Railway. 'Clan Stewart' was built in June 1919 and was withdrawn in February 1945 by the LMS as their No.14765.

Guay is on the main line, some 95 miles (160km) south of Inverness. It opened on 1 June 1863 and closed on 3 August 1959.
