47757 "Restitution" on a northbound passenger train at Kingussie. The locomotive was introduced in October 1964 (as D1779). It was eventually scrapped in March 2006.

Kingussie, on the Highland Main Line, was opened by the Inverness and Perth Junction Railway in September 1863. It closed to goods traffic in October 1965 but remains a station stop for passenger services.
