The mobile tablet changer at Moy Station

This photograph shows the mobile tablet changer at Moy Station. Tablets (sometimes tokens) ensured that only one train had access to a single line section of railway and a driver had to be in possession of the tablet before proceeding.

Moy Station, on the main line between Inverness and Perth, was opened by the Highland Railway in July 1897. It stopped receiving goods services in January 19764 and passenger services in May 1965.
