HR 49 'Clan Campbell' and 53 'Clan Stewart' on the 4.00pm from Inverness to London Euston in August 1923.

HR 49 was a member of the Highland railway's 'Clan' class of 4-6-0 passenger locomotive. It was designed by Christopher Cumming and built by Hawthorn Leslie & Co. at Newcastle in 1919. After the grouping it became LMS 14762 and continued in service until being withdrawn in June 1947.
