14762 (formerly HR 49) was a member of the Highland railway's 'Clan' class of 4-6-0 passenger locomotive. It was designed by Christopher Cumming and built by Hawthorn Leslie & Co. at Newcastle in 1919. It continued in service until being withdrawn in June 1947.
