CR 85 on a cattle train near Stanley.

CR 85, a 4-4-0 steam locomotive, was built for the Caledonian Railway in 1921 to a design by William Pickersgill. After the grouping it became LMS 14490. At the time of nationalisation in 1948 it was based at Carstairs shed. It was withdrawn from service in May 1960 and disposed of in September of the same year.
